Phenolic Compounds and Skin Permeability: An In Silico Investigation

نویسندگان

چکیده

Background: The skin is the largest organ of body and provides main barrier between internal external environment. Assessment permeability critical importance for understanding predicting in vivo efficacy bioavailability bioactive phenolic compounds. Objectives: This study investigated relationship compounds using silico methods. Methods: Screening was performed on 475 randomly selected Molecules were expressed SMILE format downloaded from Phenol-Explorer Database (version 3.6, 2016). Then, their determined by linear model quantitative structure-activity (QSAR). obtained results normal distribution correlation with pharmacological properties. Results: Our investigation showed that ferulate hydroxycinnamic acid derivatives most important subclass a -1.65 cm/s. lipophilicity, water solubility, synthetic accessibility, evaluated. statistical analysis revealed highest associated three parameters: topological polar surface area (TPSA), molecular weight, lipophilicity (iLog P). Conclusion: cutaneous depended several chemical parameters molecule used. classification according to structures proved wide variability this permeability.

an investigation into iranian teachers consistency and bias in evaluation of students writings

while performance-based language assessment has led to an increased authenticity and content validity in the practice of writing assessment, the reliability of ratings has become a major issue. research findings have shown different reactions by native english speaker (nes) and non-native english speaker (nns) teachers to students’ writings. the focus of this study is on investigating whether i...

an investigation into elt teachers’ sense of self-efficacy in teaching reading comprehension and their personality types

as far as bandura’s (1977) conceptualization of the sense of self-efficacy is concerned, it is argued to be context- and even task-specific, compared to other concepts like self-esteem (brown, 2000); therefore, upon the previous research studies, related theories and definitions, and the ideas and views obtained from the interviews conducted with the scholars, the current research study aimed a...

An in silico investigation into nitrogen fixation

One of the most important parts of the nitrogen cycle is nitrogen fixation. We present a computational investigation into two aspects of nitrogen fixation: (1) For the mechanism of nitrogenase action in K. pneumoniae, we present the full Thorneley and Lowe model developed from the literature with clarifications and corrections in SBML. Additionally, we perform an analysis of the rate-limiting s...

Phenolic Compounds in the Potato and Its Byproducts: An Overview

The potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) is a tuber that is largely used for food and is a source of different bioactive compounds such as starch, dietary fiber, amino acids, minerals, vitamins, and phenolic compounds. Phenolic compounds are synthetized by the potato plant as a protection response from bacteria, fungi, viruses, and insects. Several works showed that these potato compounds exhibited he...
